A Different Creature From Every Barcode
The whole game is generated from the barcodes around you — the art, the kingdom, the rarity and the fusion are all derived from each code, so the same product always makes the same creature, and no two products make the same one.
Procedural Creatures
Every creature's body, colours, pattern and features are drawn procedurally from its barcode — there are no pre-made sprites. Scan with the camera, or pick a photo of a barcode from your gallery.
30+ Kingdoms
From Dragon and Beast to Cosmic, Savanna, Arctic and Toxic — each kingdom fights differently, has its own landscape, and sits on a full type-effectiveness chart underneath every battle.
Story Mode
Travel through 33 worlds, one per kingdom, and face that kingdom's leader in its boss stage. Worlds for newer kingdoms open as their leaders arrive.
Essence Fusion
From Epic upward, creatures fuse other kingdoms in. An Epic bird becomes a Demon Bird; an Ultra Mythic one a Robot Demon Bird with metal skin, horns and burning eyes.
Hatch, Evolve & Streaks
Scanning lays an egg whose rarity is set the instant it's created — the rarer it is, the longer it takes to hatch. Keep a daily scan streak going for bonus rewards, right up to guaranteed Ultra Mythic eggs.
Cyber Pet
Look after your favourite creature: feed it, pat it, play minigames and fetch, tuck it in to sleep and give it a wash when it gets grubby. Neglect it and it ends up in the Medical Centre.
Battles & Battlegrounds
Turn-based battles with elemental effects, wildcards and team fights. Choose any kingdom as your battleground — the scene you pick sets the terrain that powers up different elements.
Play With Friends
1v1, team and party battles with friends, all starting from a shared Ready Room where everyone picks the battleground and readies up. Trade creatures and keep a friends list.
Shinies & Discovery
A rare shiny roll on any scan, a Discovery Index that fills as you find new species, 151 achievements and a League Table to climb against other players.
Latest updates
- Out now on Google Play. Skanimalz launched publicly in September 2026 and is free to download.
